Power stearing pump noise

Need help: my power steering high pressure line was leaking slowly so I change it and I put a new line in I fill it up with power steering fluid and now my pump is making a humming noise when I turn the steering wheel, so I keep Turing the steering wheel from left to right numerous times and check the reservoir so see if it's full and it is full and the noise from the pump is still there...any solutions how to fix it ? note the noise wasn't where before I change the line.

could be air in the system, did you have the reservoir cap off when going turning left and right?

Most likely you got an aftermarket high pressure hose, which is known to come with the noise when turning. I had one installed for a few years which I finally had enough and bought and OEM one.

There are threads about this issue where the wrong crimp was used, causing the noise.

you can use either or in the system, ATF or power steering fluid is fine

i would say theres just a bit of air in the system. if it doesnt bleed off itself after a day or two more, i would look into things
