93-94 fuel injectors
From what i see on compatibility with injectors being sold on ebay the 94 gxe and se injectors are the same 270cc? and im guessing they are compatible with each others fuel rails? Ofcoarse you can't believe everything you read online so i'd just like to confirm. Im thinking im going to go ahead and change my 92 fuel rail and lower intake out for the 94. I already have the sub harness for 2,4 and 6 and the pigtails for 1,3 and 5. I guess i'll just have to figure out the colour differences to make sure i get 1,3 and 5 soldered in correctly. That's ofcoarse after i get my random stalling issue straightened out which has nothing to do with battery or alt. and seems to be happening on both idle and when accelerating but otherwise runs smooth with no misfires or stumbling. Im kind of stumped with it and it's been happening the past few days. Im pretty certain it's either ignition or fuel related although i've eliminated most of the ignition side unless theres something im missing. If i do go through with the fuel rail and injector swap i may put my practically new 89-92 injector sub harness for 2,4 and 6 up for sale.

The 93-94 VG injectors are identical physically to VE injectors yes, meaning they are technically compatible with eachothers fuel rails, but they are not the same injectors.
VE's are 270cc and the VG's should be smaller flow rate, I don't remember how much smaller. Maybe 240cc? They may not be 240 even, possibly a little smaller. I know the 89-91 VG's were something like 190cc? So in that case I doubt the 94 VG's were even 240cc. But that's just speculation on my part.
Either way, the late VG injectors are not the same as the VE injector.

I did. If i do the swap i have the lower 94 intake plate and fuel rail w injectors aswell as the sub harness and pigtails for 1,3 and 5 but if i do im thinking about putting all new injectors in and wondering if i can get away with using the ve injectors without any troubles. I know they would fit in the rail and after i get my headers installed i may go back for another tune (ecu chip) Im sure the tuner could make the necessary adjustments if needed being the flow rate is probably different like James had mentioned but in the meantime before taking it to get tuned would it run rough or way too rich with those injectors? I didn't see any mention of types of injectors that could be used in that thread just that you were putting new injectors in. For some crazy reason the ve injectors cost much less than the vg's and may be benificial for a little extra pep if tuned right. Im staying n/a for now and not sure if im going to go turbo in the future or not.

I know they'll fit o.k. James also confirmed they'd fit. I was just wondering being one type is 220 cc which I think is the vg and the ve is 270cc. I spoke with a seller about the 270cc injectors and he said they would be o.k to use with no issues. I was just worried about whether or not the engine would run rough with the 270cc injectors but apparently not.

Would these red 270cc injectors cause a too rich condition in the 93-94 vg or would they be o.k? I heard from a couple sellers they'd be fine and others say to use the pink 220cc.
