Yeah but that's the way of it, call it pulling a Hyundai. Flood the market, gain market share, increase prices.

But yeah, like James said a lot of it is fine. I don't see the gap in quality nearly as much with japanese oem parts as I do german ones. But the whole thing of it is was the same way with Japan in the 60's-70's.

I was having a similar conversation with a friend a few days ago except welders prompted the convo. But pretty much you can get quality stuff made in china but most of it is completely disposable, not serviceable. I was a bit taken back spending extra on Timken bearings for axle rebuild kits to find the made in china stamps but after comparing them to USA stuff, if they weren't lazer etched you wouldn't know which was which.
