One way is to look at the numbers on the plate on the firewall inside the engine bay. Limited slip has a V while the non limited slip had A.
Another way is to lift the front wheels and and rotate any one by hand and if the other spins in the same direction you have lsd.
Mid 92 was when the se started getting the ve engine and I believe all came with the lsd. Someone can correct me but I don't think the se vg ever had lsd between 89 & 92.
92 was also the 1st year for the driver side air bag.

Supposedly you could get VE's in non-LSD but I have NEVER seen or heard of one (either auto or manual) in over 15 years of messing with these cars. i can't remember with 100% certainty, but I want to say all VE autos were actually LSD though.
RE4F04V is the LSD auto, and RE4F04A would be the non-LSD auto.
Your firewall ID plate should list the tranny code. If it's got the V at the end that's LSD.
