What engine is this?

Came across this vg at the jy with black rocker covers which appeared to be factory, which motor is this? Appeared to have been a recent install based on the new belts, radiator hoses and blue silicone plug leads. Even the (auto) tranny is clean and without any oil leaks.

my 94 GXE (mfr date = 1/94) has black rocker covers, but my old 90 GXE had red covers. Not sure what you got. Need a photo.

Strange. Could they have possibly been powder coated? I had a 94 gxe at one point too and it had red valve covers.
