Engine/Trans Mounts

Hey there, been a while since I've had the engine and trans out, so I cannot for the life of me remember how many motor/trans mounts there are.

I'm just getting some cheap aftermarket ones from rock auto because money is an issue right now, but I could swear I only removed 3 mounts when I had the engine and trans out way back when, rock auto is listing a front left, front right, rear left, rear right, but not all specify whether they're automatic or manual.
The Nissan parts diagram doesn't help either, since it lists a bunch of extra mounts. Maybe I'm mis-remembering and there really was four mounts?

Its a 1990 and a manual, hopefully one of you old timers has done mounts on a stick and can clarify for me!

Theres two on the motor and two on the trans. I actually have my trans out right now and if needed can snap pics of each one if you need.

Yep, 4 mounts. 2 on the engine and the other 2 on the tranny.

If it's not too much trouble, I'd actually really appreciate if you could. Would give me a better idea of what I'm looking for/at

Thanks guys for helping clear some of the confusion up! I did check my front mount today, since I can easily see it from above, I see that it's a two piece, that might be what's confusing me on the parts diagrams too, I assumed the engine brackets were all part of the mount assembly, but they look to be a separate part on my phone. I'll need to actually sit down tonight and look back over the diagrams better from my computer.

Pictures of the Mounts

I have a 1992 SE automatic and a 5 speed, but these should still help you. Even though these are mounts for the VE motor I think at least some of them are the same.

On the automatic, here is the front right engine mount, which is the one near the firewall.

Here is the front left, which is on the engine near the radiator

Now here are the trans mounts for a 5 speed 1992 VE

Both manual trans mounts, left on the left and right on the right

Left side manual trans mount, still installed, this is the one closer to the front of the car

Manual trans mount, still installed, right side, closer to firewall

I hope these help. I'm doing my clutch VTCs and timing chains so I have lots of pictures available.

Hey man, I'm super sorry I didn't get back to you to let you know that your pictures helped immensely as well. Thank you so much!
