Im going to bring it in to the dealership tomm, but does anyone have an idea about how much $$$$ this is going to cost??? The mirrors casing is still intact, and i can still fold it closed, but the mirror part got trashed, and since its electronic I wonder if this complicates things. did you see the ambulance? should have got his # and all that and have the department pay for it.

 

I know this ALL too well...I backed out of my garage (I was at a very odd angle) and clipped mine at 6 AM when I was hardly awake. The glass will cost 15-30 dollars if it is a non heated mirror, installation will be less than 10 dollars. Take it to an auto glass center, its cheap and easy. Im not sure if they can do a heated mirror...mine was heated, but I didn't care to spend extra to restore that as I would never need such a thing on that side...pretty cheap if you go my way and it looks the same as it did before the damage

Was the ambulance just driving along or did it have its lights on and be possibly taking a person to the hospital?
