New muffler

I need a muffler for my '90 SE. The old type with two 1.5" diameter outlets is no longer available. Instead Autozone suggests one that fits but has only a single, 2" outlet.

Two 1.5" outlets have a total area of 3.5 sq in. A single 2" outlet has an area of 3.14 sq in.

Should I be concerned about that difference? Is a single 2" outlet enough for a '90 Maxima?

Here's the part no longer available, with the two 1.5" outlets:

Here's the available part they suggest, with the single 2" outlet:

Thanks for the pictures, but I'm not asking what they look like. The muffler it had for the last 10 years until it rusted out and fell off was from Midas and looks similar the Autozone one.

What I'm asking is whether the 10% reduction in outlet area would significantly affect performance. If so, I'll need to go to a muffler shop and have a generic one welded on.

You can find one of the many 5.5th Gen Maxima(s) and graft their muffler to fit your exhaust. The hangars are all in the same location....

I was able to discuss it with the mechanic and he said it should be fine. But when I tried to order the one with the single 2" outlet, it turned out to be not available even though the website said it was.

So I took it to a highly regarded local muffler shop, and they welded on what I suppose is a generic one. It has a single 2" outlet. Works fine.
