Hey guys I have a 1989 maxima with a fully built engine/turbo. Car is awesome and runs like a monster but I’m wanting to see if there are any other transmission options? I currently have the later model lsd transmission in but it just has trouble with this much power and torque. Any suggestions?

 

 

You're going have to have a mad scientist transmission shop beef up and rebuild a trans or two.

How much torque are you making?

Honestly, these transmissions are made of glass... My guess would be You cant keep 2nd or 3rd.
Input shaft bearing failure is just horrible on the 5spd vgs,

The Only real way would be to have a trans Built, and pray you don't crack the case.
