Mass air flow adaptor for intake

I was wondering where I can buy a M.A.F. adaptor locally. I've searched but havn't found out if an auto parts store will have one. What I'm doing is getting and adaptor and buying my own K&N filter. THank guys.

I got mine from a speed shop($12), but they just ordered it from summit...I think. And I had to redrill holes for it to match up

I'm going to go to the auto parts store tomorrow and see if they have any, then to pep boys if they don't, then to a speed shop. If I can't find one I'll just buy the one off E-bay with the filter and everything.

If you want to save some money, you can make your adapter. Once you take out the stock airbox, there is a brass piece in there that you can use. If you just get some tin snips, form the piece into a tube and the cone filter will fit perfectly. If you do a search for like homemade intake or something like that, there are a few writeups on how to do this.

I wouldn't do this. That's an expensive part you're mutilating. I can send you the MAF adapter that fits perfectly for $25....

How do you think the pop charger bolts up to the MAF??? You know I sell those things, you just never put thought into it. Of course, I will have to make YOU buy the filter and the rest of it from me too!
Naw, I'll hook you up, just come by the house...
