DO NOT USE A RAZOR on your rear windshield...because you will damage your defroster lines...would not be good....but it will take some elbow grease with that goo gone...and that will work...

after you get it off use goo gone (can get it from walmart) and a razor blade to get the left over sticky off.
I used it and it worked great.

About how long does the ammonia or "Tint-Off" have to sit on the window before the tint will come off? Does it peel off, or kinda come off in clumps? I have some nasty brown tint I'd love to get rid of.

for all the others windows spray some ammonia/tintoff on and use a stainless steel razor blade and scrape off the tint/glue...not carbon steel. use a **WHITE** scouring pad and scrub the window to get rid of last bit of glue...(do not use the green ones..it'll scratch the glass).
ok this has been typed out once too many by me....so in the future people can do a search and find this information again.

Oops...Thanks for correcting that I wasn't even thinking about the rear defroster lines and your definetly right don't use razors on the glass with the defroster on it.
