My Antenna

My Antenna broke on saturday is there a ways to fix it or do i have to get a ne one and if i have to get a new one where can i get it cheap

Be more specific. The antenna mast or motor broke? you can get oem mast for ~50$ and use the old motor. If you need the whole thing, cheapest is probably someone parting out a max or a junk yard.

ebay.. ebay.. get the oem.. aftermarket is ok.. but its bette to get the oem.. Mast is on e-bay.. go to the for sale forum... put WTD: Antenna 3rd gen...

My antenna used to grind when it gets 1/3 of the way up. Now it doesnt grind anymore and its stuck the the down postion. I'm so ****ed. Is there a way to get that thing out? Or am I screwed?

If your antenna motor still work but the mast doesn't go up/down all the way, remove the antenna. The two common problems with antenna is after a while, the grease inside collects dirt which cause the mast on the antenna to jam up. The other problem is the plastic white rope-like part that push or pull the antenna is either bent, broken, or worn out. For maxima, the rope-like part have grooves on them that sblime into the motor gear.
If the inside is dirty, just clean it and put new grease in and it should work fine. If the mast is broken, replace it. I asked the dealer and they want $35 If anyone can find it cheaper let me know.

Antenna repair info on repair...

Phat- 35 bucks is a good price.. especailly on oem... look on e-bay look at the low prices on e-bay

hey get it..:P. its oem... I have aftermarket antenna.. big mistake.. b/c i no longer use the stock harness,.. so do it... and have fun.. make certain that you put back your seat belt backet back on
