stock replacement speaker mouting panels for 3rd gen maxima

mounted 6.5" speaker

painted black

here's an idea where you can mount a pair of tweeters if you purchase component sets

if you look at the pictures, the plate bolts up to the stock mounting locations. price is $35 shipped for a pair of mounting brackets, i will not cut the speaker holes out. for an additional $5, and supplied dimensions of your speaker, I will cut the holes for you, make sure you supply the correct diameter, flange, and the like measurements so the speaker you have doens't drop through the hole (this is also why I don't want to cut the holes out).

the panel will bolt up to your stock screws that hold your bose pod in, matt said that the stock screws are the same in all 3rd gen maximas, so this will bolt up to bose as well as non-bose systems, but I was told it will. this should easily accomidate 6.75" speakers, or any other application you choose.

if you want me to paint it, i'll do so for an additional $3. i will countersink the holes before i paint. in picture two, you see my screw holes have wood showing through, i was still test fitting, the panel you reiceve will be the color you choose.

if you're thinking of cutting up your old bose pod, let me tell you, i've been there. with my old set of perfect components, i just cut out the bose pod, that sucker would rattle like none other. after making these panels and screwing them down, i haven't an enormous change in bass response and don't hear a bose pod vibrating.

any questions...just ask.

how were you able to mount the speaker flush with the door? when i tried test fitting my 6.5s flush the speaker magnets would hit the glass when down and the window track, so i made 3D trapezoidal box shaped housings and the front of the speaker goes right up to the grill
