idle question

i have noticed since cleaning my throttle body that when going down hills my rpm's try and slow me down. it goes from 2000-2500 then drops by 500-1000 rpm's then rises back to where it started. Its almost like the car wants me to save my brakes. could a sensor be going bad? i am not hitting the gas, but if i do it goes away. could it be the TPS? any help would be appreciated.

I'm having the same prob recently....I think it might be the throttle cable needing adjustment or the TPS, like you suggested.

anyone else have any suggestions???
