sorry dan,
i know the type (9004) i need, however i was more targetting the best brand name bulb out there. i saw some peeps said that they do not like the APC's b/c of a yellowish glow...
i just want bright white bulbs..no yellow glow...a bluish glow is acceptable.

well you got your usual honduh ricer bulbs; showoffs, nokya, xenon, hiper industry. Those bulbs kinda what you're looking for around 15 to 30 bucks a set and you can find them on ebay. And there are those that are more expensive, but they give out the more brighter HID's look and those are razo, piaa, polarg, raybrig. And these bulbs are $hitload more expensive around 50 to 100 bucks a set, but they look good. Not only are they BRIGHT white, or bluish white but they are bright as hell.
I used the APC SuperWhite 80/100 bulbs. They were very white, and some people actually say they look blue. The color and the brightness were excellent. The problem with them is that they only last a few months before they blow out. Some people will say that they last them for like a year with no problems, but I can tell you now that I have 4 pairs of them with all the low beams shot.
My search is on for similar color, brightness, wattage bulbs that last. Oh yeah and by the way, I have the APC Wiring harness and you should get theat also if you plan on upgrading to a higher wattage bulb.
