I made my own CAI for less than $50 and I put it down behind headlight
into the wheel well with out cutting a hole or moving fuse block & it
works better than all the rest. Plus I put on a 3" ram air to the wheel well for more cold air
sounds like a good idea
but just doesnt seem like theres enough room
but whats with this ram air again?
you have ur cone up under the headlight assembly right?
so you cut into your wheelwell behind the cone and put a 3" ram air there? what do you think ram air is?

You'd have to trim more than a little. The S-shaped accord CAI is smaller than the VG s-shaped pipe, and because of that you would re-route it, and probably move the battery. And then, you'd need a different lower pipe to compensate for the change in position of the MAF sensor.

Too much work for the $50 or less that you would save. And you wouldn't get the powder coat either.
no offense or anything, but comming from a guy with the accord intake on his VG, i think i would know a lil more than you in this field.

Here's a thought, the next time one of you guys have an idea for doing something, why don't you try it and then let us know the result of it?

Asking if it'll work just makes people argue..

No offense to Chris at all, but this thing looks a bit too dumb now. People named "dummy" are saying they know more than other people..wtf is up with that.
