Has anyone heard anything about this?

I know it is tempting, but don't do it, because even people that sell it there at Nopi do not recommend it! No BS!

Also I know personally a guy with a 4th Gen maxima that had one and it only made it run Wide Open Throttle all the time and removed the top speed limiter.

are you talking about the guy who had the Venom 400??? if so the Venom 400 and that Venom ECU(Kraus is talkig about) are two totally different things...that is a direct ECU replacement(like JWT, Superchips, etc.), the Venom 400 is a simple plug-in module betweent he ECU and all the sensors, they are very different! but still, theres that good ole Venom reliability at question........its not that great!

 

No i know the difference! It was a Venom ECU replacement. The guy I know is named Bucky Howard and he owns a 96 Maxima GLE that is Burgandy with Mila Miglia Evo 18" rims and tinted here in Lexington, KY. He has had the Venom and the Jet Ecus and said they both sucked!

I forget what his screen name is on here cause he is rarely on here anymore.

The Venom 400 is the only product from venom that I've heard bad things about. I think I 'll call vemon and ask for spec on the ECU.

 

Yeah, I've this ECU is new as far as I know, I saw it listed as one of their new products in a magazine I swa. Currently the only ECU device they had in the last year was the 400, no ECU replacement.....
