Quick question on removing belts on 92SE

Hi guys,

I've finally got all my tools and parts ready to change the front crank oil seal on my 92 SE. I have a quick question before I start to do the job.

I know I have to remove all the drive belts and I did them before. But it was done when I drove the two fronts wheel onto the ramp so I can get access from below. Now, replacing the crank seal I need to take the passenger wheel off so I can't drive it up the ramp. If I take the wheel off, then take the plastic fender shield off. Can I remove the belts from the right side of the car instead of from underneath it?

Thanks.

It is a lot easier to remove the belts from the bottom especially the alt. and the pwr steering belt. Why would u want to use the ramp to work on the crank seal? It is a lot easier using a jack and jack stand for the job that your doing.

Yeah, I'm going to do it with jack stands but I'm always not comfortable working under the car if it is not on a ramp. I think the jack stands always have higher chance to flip over.
