CAI ?'s
CAI ?'s
Just got a PR CAI and had a few questions. First, what does anyone know about Monster Flow air filters? How do they compare to K&N?
Second, I was reading the pamphlet for the filter and it mentioned something about "dry racing conditions." Is there any risk associated with water damage when installing a CAI?
Thanks in advance.

YES...there is a great risk since the Monster Flow is a FOAM filter...foam and water don't mix!!! I don't suggest you use it with the CAI!

I take it the K&N filter is a much safer bet? Guess I should call up Place Racing and see if I can work an exchange.
