odometer suck - speedo does back flips
odometer suck - speedo does back flips
This problem is occurring on a 1990 Maxima
The odometer hasn't worked for quite a few months both the main and reset meter. Also the speedo usually starts around 15 MPH when first started and occasionally 'flips' out. I've read a few posts that mention a dry speedo and could possibly open the thing up and fix it. Where can I get information about fixing it? The Haynes manual doesn't mention this--unless I overlooked it.
I'm going to check the cable connection to the transmission tomorrow... Any suggestions or experiences with a 3rd generation Max?
