antenna problems

Another problem that I am having with my 90 GXE I just purchased is the antenna. I understand that this is a fairly common problem, so I am curious as to what my options are. I have read that I can replace my antenna with a smaller permanent antenna that will not move up and down. This is exactly what I am looking for as I am tired of hearing that very noisy antenna motor groan every time I get in. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think that skymax's was the best looking small antenna- it says on his website that it is carbon fiber or something as well.
