Today I installed fog light on my GXE, but after that the dashboard light couldn;t turn on even if the headlight is on.

For the fog light, I pulled out the plug in the dashboard, and connected two wires: orange and black /red.

What was wrong? or is there a fuse for dash light?

And also, what are the other two wires for? they are balck and red/yellow.

you did hook up the wrong wire
you should have hooked up orange and solid black
black/red and red/yellow are the illumination control lights in the dash

so you're probably giving power to the dash lighting ground wire when you turn on the switch which would explain why none of the lights are coming on
