Will It Rub????????

I decided to get chrome rims and tires on my 92 GXE, but I also want to get eiabach pro kit lowering springs. The probem is I dont know if they are going to rub. So without further babblig my questio is If I get 18 inch chrome rims and eibach pro kit lowering springs for my car wil it RUB??????????

mine kinda rubs with 17"s but i lowered my car a little more that 2 inches

No...it wont if you get the proper tire size. When you upgrade the size of your rims, the tire sidewall size goes down. So in turn you get the same (or close as possible) overall circumfrence. Make sense?

With big rims you get low(er) profile tires. Only rubbing that would occur would be if it rubs because of width. That's when offset/spacers come into play.

i just put 18 x 8.5 Giovanna Essens in chrome on my '92 SE w/ stock suspention and springs for now, i need 2 spacers on the rear to wheels cuz of the width, got 'em a couple days ago and so far w/ the spacers i havent had a problem, so im hopin' i never will, cuz it look sooooo sweeeet! (i'll have some pics up ASAP)

Depends on three things:

How wide are the wheels?
How wide are the tires?
What is the offset of the wheels?

I have the Roh RT's 18 inch with 240/40/18'5 tires
and it rubs. I also have the KYB/ eibach pro set up.
