What First: Rims or Lowered Car

I want to lower my car and put rims on it. I know that if I get rims first, I can lower it accordingly. But if I want to lower it first; how will I know if 17's will fit on it.

Are you considering doing a sport suspension, or jsut ricing it by cutting the springs? A 17" wheel will fit fine, jsut as long as you put on the right tire. If you put on a 17" wheel just don't get a tire with a huge sidewall, say 245 75 17.

I would do springs first, infact I did. Personally I think a car with nice 17's or so looks silly at stock height.

not on our cars. I think the most is 1.8 and that is with sprints. I could be wrong but if you search you will be able to find the exact drop of different springs.

i just recently did eibachs and i have 18's
it looks good but it rides pretty rough on the chicago streets. i think you want to go too low. but that is cool. i like slammed cars i just cant drive them here in the city with all the potholes. good luck man.
i personally always get rims first and then springs. that is just me. if you are more for performance, get the springs. first
