this is for a Fed spec maxima. Y pipe is in good condition. It is not detoriating from rust or anything.

very interested, what kind of power increase could you see with a mod like this.
take into consideration that i would be adding this to a stock setup with a hks super megaflow intake kit.

Bottom line, from take off you will lose low end torque. On top end you are right the car will not be restricted. Thats what he is saying. If you do not care about low end then your fine.
