Fuel Filter change.....
Hey peepz, I'm about to change my fuel filter...can u guys give me some advice...is it an easy change? where is the filter located in engine bay? do I have to shut off fuel valve somewhere?
as you can see, i haven't really looked for it or anything yet...but any help is appreciated.

It's not hard at all....
Once I knew what to do. Should only take about 15 min or so. Once you loosen the clamp screws, just slip a pair of needle nose pliers at the end of the tube on the fuel filter barb and push it off. before my mechanic told me how to do it, I just kept pulling on it. He told me it was acting like a fingerlock.
Hope that helps.....

Find the fuel pump fuse, start up the car, pull the fuse. After the car dies crank it a few times. Now put out the cigarette, not a good idea to smoke while changing the filter. Get a few bandaids, you'll need them. The filter is on the firewall in front of the driverside. See it back there? Shove your hand in there and attempt to unscrew the bottom clamp. Realise that your hand is stuck now, Don't just yank your hand out. I said don't! now look... Your bleeding... Ya well... Ok now you've got the bottom clamp unscrewed.. Yank on it... Ya right yank on it... ha its stuck now put your hand underneath it and attempt to hold the hose while you yank on it. Ok its coming off... Cool bout time. Whats this? Gas?... I thought we got that out... ouch gas on my open wounds... Man life doesn't get any better then this... Now gotta try to figure out how but put it back on...
Nissan did a nice job with these engine... Except... for the fuel filter. I've changed (2) of them the second one took 1/2 hour and only ended up with 3 wounds. Thats my record try to beat it. I double dog dare ya. Good luck and when your done I'll pay ya $20 bucks to do mine. Whats that? Root canal... Ya sure, I'd rather do that!

Round two, do it yourself'er wins.....
It's not too bad. You can let the car sit overnight to relieve all presure in the fuel system. Open the gas cap before you change the filter. Remove the airbox so you get more room. Slip a flat blade screw driver between the fuel filter and the hose to pry it off.
I changed mine twice already, not a scratch (on me).
