Re: key ring light

The first thing to do is get something thin and pop out the plastic piece surrounding the key insert. You should be able to see the outline if you look closely. Next turn the white plastic piece surrounding the metal ignition lock. Pull it out once it's loose.
The only thing attached to it is the bulb holder. Turn the the bulb holder and it should side out. I'm not sure what the bulb number is.
I painted mine dark blue.

I was just wondering if the whole ring is supposed to be lit? Only the bottom half of my ring is green!

Yes the whole ring should be emitting light. You probably need a new
bulb. The bulb has a green plastic condom looking cover over it.
If you take it off the key ring with light up white.

I saw pics of one with a blue led, and it looked amazing. Along with the blue led guage lights the car looked really nice inside.

Yes it's truly remarkable. When I get back to the U.S. of A. I will
be putting in a blue led. I plan on doing my bose face lighting blue as well.

So far I've done window switches and gear shifter light with blue leds. I'm going to do the climate control, rear defogger, cruise, security and bose face. You can use radio shack leds. But there are brighter ones available on ebay and LED suppliers on the net. The bulb number at radio shack is #276-311
I agree green is boring and gross
