Why is my SES light on after changing fuel filter?

Well today is one of the worst days ever. I was changing my fuel filter , and i decided to cut the hose with a razor blade. Once i cut through the hose i proceeded to cut into my index finger. I went to the emergency room and got 7 stitches, and i probably lost feeling permenantly in the tip of my finger. Oh well. Now my ses light is on in my car I reset the computer(disconnected battery) and it is still on. What could be causing this? It is really ****ing me off

Then on my way to work I took my favorite s curve at 60mph(suggested 20).. OUt of nowhere a cop is on my ***. He gave me a ticket for 50mph/30.. I guess i deserved it. He also said i need to remove my window tint apparently it is 37%!! 50% is the darkest you can have in minnesota, Even though half of the cars on the road have darker tint than me. I ended up getting a ticket for $110.00 he told me if i try to fight it in court he will get me for window tint and wreckless driving..

Damn, well everyone has they're off days, except yours seemed to suck pretty bad...

Anyways, you should check your ECU for codes....
