Pulleys

I like to purchase set of pulleys...
but like to do some research and get some comments...

1). What brand you guys r using and would prefer?

2). And any other "side effects" with the pulleys installed?

3). Any other things or mods have to come with pulleys?

4). Lastly, anything i need to be aware of when i'm getting and installing them?

Thx alot!

We have underdrive pulleys, but I'm not sure whether we have the whole set(3 I believe) available for MAXimas...

Just the underdrive pulleys.

1. Only one available - Unorthadox Racing
2. None that I found
3. Nope
4. The 19mm bolt is on tight. Be prepared, air tools are your friend.

If you don't have air tools and still want to do it yourself, suggest using a long (3-4 ft) sturdy pipe over a 1/2" ratchet handle to give yourself MEGA leverage - the 19mm crank bolt will be on really tight - you'll want to use extensions so you won't be ratcheting inside the wheel well.

Question~!!

Sorry to bother again...
i've searched for some other posts about pulleys, and sounds like most people got a set of new belts as they install pulleys.
is it necessary to purchase the belts?

yes,the UR pully diameter is smaller,so you are going to need the alt. and a/c part # gates K060408,power steering # gates K040292,the part # should come with the new pully inside the installation instructions,

So, the set of pulleys doesn't come with the belts? 'coz the shop told me that it does have the belts in the box.
Any of you has done the installation yourself? I've checked the space under the hood, and it's very tight.

No they do not come with belts. You will need to get them. To get the belt size go to Unorthadox Racing's web site.
