Bose CD-Changer option

Bose CD-Changer option

What is so special about Bose Cd-chaner connector that I have to buy the OEM CD-Changer to work with it? I have a 10 disk xtreme FM modulator Cd-changer with one round DIN connector. I can connect it to Bose instead of my Fm modulator. Question is will that connector fit in Bose system?

no, the round one will not fit. this may not help you, but you could look on eBay for changers compatible with the bose system. they're all six-disc changers, just do a search for "nissan changer" or "infiniti changer" i bought one for around $230 and it works great. there may be an adapter to make the round one fit, but i wouldn't count on it. if you want, you can try searching specialty car stereo websites. my car had an fm modulated changer installed when i got it, but i swapped it for the one on eBay, and it sounds so much better, plus it's much easier to control since i just use the bose head unit. below is a picture of the connectors. the smaller one goes in the changer and the larger one goes in the head unit:
