I just got one, and I had a few questions. First the i30 mirror has 4 wires coming out of it(two multicolored and 1 red and 1 black) . Which ones do I have to splice into the power? Also tried searching, but couldn't find much on the topic.

Tried to PM DOWN LOW , but his pm box is full. His post made it seem like there were only two wires to connect, I've got four I need to figure out where to send.

I've been searching on this and cannot find exactly where you splice into the power. Did anyone ever figure it out?

Get the wiring diagram for the I-30 to see how to wire mirror. There is a seperate sending unit under center of dash. Not as easy as just hooking up to 12 volts (4 wire I-30 mirror).

If you have a part number on that, I can look it up.

The other two are probably tied to your lamps, and your reverse.

Dimming doesn't work in the day, and it is disabled when you put your car in reverse.
