Philips VisionPlus... IF you can find 'em in the US. I can't. Sylvania Silverstar's are supposed to be good.

Haven't tried the PIAA Extremewhite's, but custommaxima says they're much better than the PIAA Superwhite's (which are pretty crappy as far as light output goes) so maybe they're worth a try!

I'd prefer real HID's too, but HID + 9004 headlamp bulb is a big NO in my book.

I've got Silverstars ... here's a comparison pic to regular halogens. Huge improvement over stock (whiter, slightly brighter, but NOT HID-like).

For the money I paid, I think it's worth it.

I like my PIAA Xtreme Whites....if you look @ them eye level, you can see a slight blue tint and a lot of white
However, standing straight up and looking down @ them (my headlights), they do not appear as white.
All about the angle you look @ them!

I paid $40 shipped for a pair of slightly-used Silverstars and Polarg clearance bulbs (as seen in the pic) from another .org member.

The pic makes the bulbs appear white but I must say that they're not ... and there is also a slight purple tint on the side of the housing if you look at it at an angle.

I see everyone gettin' new bulbs any everything.. i have these xenon euro lights.. and i like them.. they have a bluish to the lights.. which is nice.. i want some really white ones like the pic above.. but don't wanna spend like 70$ on bulbs.. i see like 12$ for a pair of bulbs that would work at pep boys, auto zone, advance autoparts.. etc.. i mean what's the difference.. i just want white lookin' lights.. better than stock is all i want.. no yellow.. yellow = ugly.. hehe.. well i was thinkin' bout PIAA until i saw the price.. now i'm lookin' into others that are cheaper but gives me the white.. anyone know?

I have Phillip's Blue-Vision bulbs and I find them to be a definite improvement over stock. Not only are they a whiter tint, but I feel they illuminate the roadway much better, especially the high beams. I purchased my Blue-Visions at K-Mart for $12 a bulb(as have a few other members, so avaliability shouldn't be a problem).

The bargain price, coupled with great performance and widespread avaliability, make these bulbs a great choice.

Phillip's Blue-Vision bulbs have 9004 right.. do they have the clearance lights too.. the corner lights beside the headlights?

I want my lights to match... not different color.. any suggestions?

Of course.

When Greg comes out with the projectors, I might 'upgrade' ... can't wait to see the design and the beam pattern. I'll probably get HID with it too which I'll enjoy a LOT more than my Silverstars.
