New Suspension question

i redid my suspension yesterday, and we had all the tools and things were definately done right. I put on agx struts and progress springs, both brand new, and i noticed i have alittle noise coming from the suspension, like when i hit alittle bump, doesn't sound harmful, but i was just wondering if the springs just have to settle and if the sound will go away. Thanks

john

Elaborate a little more on your sound issue. Is it coming from the front?Rear? Did you use the polyurethane sleeves and try wire wrap? Did you torque everything correctly?

what i hear is definately coming from the front, we used a rand rachet set to tighten i don't know if we should have rented pressurized tightener, but i don't notice the rears at all, they feel goodand we put the old sleeve's that were on the stocks on the new springs, but we didn't do the wrap, doesn't sound like a spring, sounds more like a strut

does it sound like it's the strut though, from the sound i get it's like a loose strut, but i'm pretty sure it's not loose, has yours gotten any better too, and how long have u had your struts on?

Everything needs to settle in.
It takes about a month for the majority
of the noise to go away.

I've had Progress springs and AGX's for almost 2 months now. I installed everything myself and I have no noise or any problems whatsoever. Make sure you wrap the springs with spiral wrap. Read through this

Me too. I've haven't had any noises at all. I made sure to torque everything to spec and wrapped all the coils with the OEM poly sleeves and the wire wrap.

Like what others are saying... I think u just need to wait a month or so to break into em. If the noise continues... then you know to check em for sure.
