Tranny Cooler Installed!

After about an hour's worth of time (partially due to warding off an endless horde of mosquitoes in my garage), I got it installed successfully. I used the Hayden 403 kit. I have to admit it was very straight forward. Since the transmission already had a direct line with a hose and two inlets for the input into the stock cooler, you just basically install the cooler in-between the two. The hose that came with the kit is just a little too short to probably get it to work for both pieces if you cut it. I recommend buying another equal length of hose. The hose that came with the kit was good quality and I recommend getting just as good. I went to Autozone and got some cuz my friend works there, but I'm probably gonna replace that sometime soon. I wasn't impressed by it much. All in all, I feel better about going to the drag strip considering I put my automatic through enough abuse. If anyone reading this is thinking about it, I recommend it. Also, thanks to Josh F for the pictures and help. They explained all the questions I had!

:o)

Hey JDM, glad I could help. Glad it all worked out for you. If you want to use the pics, feel free. Don't forget to give credit to Greg Pete with his write-up for the .org.

All I did was add a little bit of a (what I feel is better) twist to it.
