anybody had SC belt alignment probs?

The car started up and sounds real good thanks to ptatohed and a few other people
but within a few minutes the belt was out of alignment almost like the upper pulley on the mounting plate is forcing the belt to not line up with the alternator and a few of the ribs are starting to crawl off.
i only drove it from one driveway to my other one.
i searched and didn't find much.
Please help with any ideas or fixes.
thanks in advance....i really love the max even more.!

Did you fix this? I don't know what to tell youother than the belt tension. Good luck.

all the pullies have to align if someone swapped out the pulleys to a smaller pulley, that smaller pulley that replaced the stock one has to be the same exact size, if not you may need to shim your blower by adding washers between the blower and the plate to align the plate. So if the plate is not perfectly aligned the belt will fall off. Another thing in my opinion having a idler pulley with rails does not help the problem the belt needs .?? mms to give a little to left or to the right there for your belt wont even come close to touching a rail, if it barely toches the rail or rides the rail the belt will eventually get shred. Is the belt jumping towards the motor (right) or away from the motor(left)?? if you were standing in front of the car facing the motor.

Well thanks for answering guys,i really do appreciate it!
the deal is that everything is aligned except the alternator, just slightly off.a rib or 2 is riding off the edge.
i must have taken that F###### supercharger of 4 times since the beginning of the install.
If i have to,i guess i will throw some washers on there to align it right.
I did take her for a couple blasts down a straight away and it has a V8 sound when she kicks in.
automatic though,no exhaust tweaks yet.
but much more powerful no doubt!
3.33 pulley must be the culprit like you said.
theres also another plug thats disconnected underneath where the maf was originally(ptatohed helped me with the main plug<thanks>)
there's also a hole on the bottom of the elbow that goes into the throttle body that's letting lots of boost out!
I taped it for now until i figure out wtf it is or what goes to it.
Thanks again guys

so is jumping on the alternator pulley, do you have all the top bolts to the plate?? you can be missing one of them the center one but you must have all the front top bolts of the plate, loosen all the bolts only loosen them a bit for the plate to have enough play and then tighten the top bolts if that doesnt work your going to need the bottom of the blower just a bit to lift the bottom of the plate MMs upward from the bottom therefor the plate can stragten out and the belts sit a perfect 90 degree angle. Thats why the belt fall off.`

o.k. thanks very much i will give it a shot.
by the way i got autolite 1 step colder plugs in yesterday gapped at .040(i know not many people recommend autolites)but the ngk's were worn to little sharp point and the shop didn't have enough ngk's in stock.
the car seems to run much much better now besides the alternator crap.
Thanks

I was using two step colder $1.29 NGK plugs, so you should be okay with autolites, but someone else can give you the true scoop on spark plugs since I am not knowledgable in that area!
