does anyone have one of these on their car. i know that they sell them but i saw a post a while back where someone got one but it would not fit. so has anyone with a 96 got one on their car, if so does it fit well and a pic would be nice.

 

Slicnic, I just got one and I have a 96. It doesn't fit. You'll either have to get a 97-99 bumper, cut into your existing bumper (too much trouble and probably not safe) or alter the grill by having it cut into...a lot.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to make this fit easily, holla at me. CmeAK@aol.com

 

I ordered the trenz grill two weeks ago from godfathercustoms.com and haven't gotten it yet. It's shipping from trenz so they are causing the delay not godfather. While inquiring about the shipping I talked to a rep at trenz. They told me that the grill used to just fit 97's. They told me they just redesigned it and that is why mine is delayed. I'd suggest calling trenz and getting a definite answer on the fit for a 96. I have a 97 so I'm not worried about the fit but I'll post after I get it installed to let everybody know how it went and to see the new design.

BluethingSE: try calling trenz and seeing if they'll swap with you.

there it is, i have a 95 max (same as the 96 your talking about) got it from godfather and of course it didn't fit. took alittle altering but i got it to look pretty good, only real problem is that theres a bit of a gap from the bottom of the grill to the bumper. its kinda noticable in the pic but when your standing above the car you can't really tell

The Grille from Godfather customs.com WILL NOT FIT CORRECTLY ON THE 95-96. It leaves a huge gap between the bumper and the bottom of the grille(almost an inch) My boy PJ has it on his 97 and looks Hott with no gaps!! I say buy the STillen SMX Grille, i can get it for $115 or cheaper, let me know.

CATTMAN sells them for $155 for 97-99 and only $125 for 95-96. Checkout cattmans website. Great deals to be had.
