I finally got it and I chose 20% for all the windows exept for the windsheild...I know its still illegal here in NJ but it looks perfect...with the amount of light coming in the front windshiel it really lightens the front two and makes them a differnt shade..during the day I have no problem with people seeing me, and at night its not too dark or too light...it like perfect. the A/C also doenst have to work as hard on my way to school cause the interior is a touch darker...listen to me and get 20%
the place I got it done at did a good job but made a real mess of the interior with the dirty water they used and I need to clean my rear leather and my back carpeting by the speakers, oh well

You say that now, Matt but wait 3 months and one cloudy day when you're admiring your car in the parking lot, you'll get paranoid and realize that the fronts don't look lighter and you'll flip. Then, you'll start rolling down your front windows every time you see a cop for about 2 weeks, then you'll be back to normal.

And the cycle will repeat every year (or more frequently if you're feeling unsecure!)

 

i got a platinum 20% which is kind of mirrored and i freak out at night when i see a cop because at night you can see your own reflection in my tint. my girlfriend got 5% on her escort and that freaks me out everytime i get into it no matter what time of day. TOO DARK!

 

Well I got 20% on my two front windows and 5% on the rest (except windshield) and it looks GREAT!!! oh and i dont even worry bout them cops. So far since i got it about 3 or 4 cops have rolled up next to me and even made eye contact with me. They dont care (I guess) about my tint. they just keep on going about their business. Oh and this is in the LAPD. Its so cool that they dont care.

 

if someone wanted to peer into your car on a bright day (while parked), could they see your stereo and such?

i am planning on a 15% all around, no limo tint for me, i dont want to run into any power poles when backing up at night

 

I have 5% all around mine . i had to do it myself though on the sides b/c no one would do it for me. I have black leather and a black max. The tint looks darker than my car at times. Still though cops in South Louisiana dont giva a damn. Oh and i got a strip on the front like 5 inches too low and they dont care about that either.
