Maxima's and 20 inch rims?

Hi, I havent gotten a maxima yet but ive been looking at this 1997 maxima se and was wondering if there was any way to put 20 inch rims on it with mods? if so how much would that cost to put 20's on( mod wise)? also will it sit up like a monster truck or will it sit low if I throw springs on the car? Thanks alot. Chris

Granted they're not too wide, all you have to do it roll the fenders. Click this to see what he had to do.

you dont need any special mods to put 20s and lower as long as you have the right offset. if oyu have the wrong offset you'll have all sorts of fun with rubbing

I don't see a lot of helping from you in this thread either.

Have anything else to say, send me a PM. Or else, keep yourself out of this thread unless you plan on contributing.

I have a coworker who has a 98 I30 with 20 inchers but he said he definitely had to lower it because there is a huge gap on the stock springs that it looked kinda like a SUV he lowered it with eibach springs and it looks pimped out now. But if you want to race with it 20 inches is a lil too big. My coworker said he lost alot of power when the 20 inch rims were installed. I just got 17 installed with no lost of power (i think) .If your fixing your car up for the looks get the 20 inch rims but if you wanna race it, u'll lose some power.
