fuel pressure gauge...not working?

I just installed the Autometer fuel pressure gauge. At startup, the gauge should read something right? When I start up the car, mine doesn't read anything, still at 0. I rev the car up a bit, nothing either. I didn't take a test drive yet. I don't know what I did wrong. Everything seem right.

Btw, I hooked up the 12v red wire to the + battery, the instruction said so. However, I looked at Cheston's site, there it said to hook up to the red wire of the cigarette lighter to get the 12v. Shouldn't make any difference right? I grounded the black wire to a spot in the engine bay. I tapped the T fitting into the the top hose of the fuel filter. So what's wrong? Is it the wiring?

Just follow the directions that came with the gauge. I did, and everything worked fine. If you are sure all the connections are correct, perhaps your fuel pressure sender is defective? Just a guess.

Check your wiring again. Most likely it's the ground.
