I keep seeing this more and more on max's here in ny, what do u guys think about shaving the maxima off of the trunk, buy leaving the nissan symbol? or taking it all off??

mine are gettin kinda crappy...is there anyway i can get new ones or refinish them or something?? some of the finish is fading off, and they arent too shiney anymore

The easiest thing to do is just to buy new emblems. And since you'll still have the goo remnants form the old letters they shouldn't be hard to align.

i shaved my MAXIMA emblem off, but left the nisssan. i think it looks good, much cleaner at least. right now i dont have a spoiler on my car so the back would look a little empty without the nissan emblem, but once i get the spoiler its coming off

actually i did the oppisite, and removed the hamburger and left the M A X I M A. looks good imo.

ive been debating it for a while too but i like the letters so that someone can read my *** when i burn them---MAXIMA has just owned you
but then again, i like this setup this other guy had, it looked sweet--shaved completely and put a GTR symbol under the keyhole...looked real nice

just shave off "Nissan" and leave the MAXIMA, thats what i did and it looks nice.

Anyone ever painted the emblems? Just wondering. I don't think I would, but it was a thought taht had never occured to me. Later
