Has anyone tried to put a remote start on a car with at Manual, does it work (I assume it does but I'm sure you have to bypass a few things) and how hard is it. Just trying to find out the feasability of it.

 

me me me... I did it... works like a charm, doesn't even start in gear.

 

My friend installs these, but he ghetto rigs a magnetic switch on the lower part of the shifter, under the boot. The car won't start unless the shifter is in the neutral position, where the other end of the magnetic switch is. Maybe you could try that?

Did you have to bypass the clutch starter switch or whatever it is called?
