Aluminum Dash Kit, Need Help!

Hey Guys, this is JetBlackMax. I cant seem to access any of the forums on that name, and im tryna contact the ppl from the org, to help me with the problem and Im gettin no success. So Im gonnna have to use this name for now.. Now, onto the question!

I have a 98 GLE. It comes with that Stock Woodgrain in the car, where the whole piece is that plastic woodgrain. I want to know if I order the Aluminum Dash kit, wil it be able to fit right over the wood part? Has anyone done this before? I just got the aluminum maxima door inserts and im feening for the dash kit.

Someone help me out please? thanx!

Nick

Re: Aluminum Dash Kit, Need Help!

ok i got your answers..this was me...

i have a 96 gle with woodgrain. put on dashkit, but could barely see the woodgrain underneath, being the picky person that i am, i took the dash kit off. then like 2 months later one of my black friends got a 96 gxe. i told him i would swap him the woodgrain for his black plastic. so i did the swap . only thing was i had to give up my push tray under radio for a manual drawer one. then like 2 weeks later i bought the aluminum dash AGAIN from shawdow. looks ten times better. got door inserts not to long ago. all looks very sweet in black interior. well hope this helps you somehow......later wayne

ahhh thank you. If the woodgrain is BARELY noticible, then Ill go for it, just as long as you cant really see it, unless you look hard for it. Whos shawdow? Is his Aluminum Dash Kit cheaper then CustomMaximas? And Is it the same exact one, and will match my Aluminum Door inserts?

Thanx!
