exhaust (muffler) question

I am running a Warpspeed Y-pipe and soon to have my frankencar intake on my 97 MAX SE (auto), I was considering a b-pipe w/ resonators and a BOMZ EVO 4" tunable muffler. My question is with the addition of the these mods, will I be putting up w/ a constant drone. Has anybody tried these adjustable tune mufflers? The reason I ask is my factory muffler is a bit beat up and I would like a nice finishing piece without the ricey side effects. I found the muffler at racinglab.com for around $120, looks like a real nice piece. Thanks for your time ~~Wade

bomz mufflers are pretty loud, they arent deep, they will make your car sound more like a civic........it does look pretty good though.

I am getting a Frankancar intake, warpspeed y-pipe, a b-pipe w/o resonator. However I want a muffler that will not be rice. Any suggestions?

I like the Hayame mufflers but they want like $200 for just a muffler. Dam that is a lot.

szechingyu218: put up some sound files for us.

I have the HKS and it sounds very nice! If a civic is a tweeter this thing is a 18 inch subwoofer. Low tone! I think you can feel it more than you can hear it in a good way. Very bassy.

Is the inlet size 2.5"? Because I want to have a 2.5" full exhaust.

borla proXS muffler in offset/center. it's available in the 2.5" diameter you want. buy the matching round 3.5" intercooled tip and it's one nice looking unit. the muffler costs $75 and is T304 stainless. it's a straight through design with deep mellow sound and sleeper looks. feel free to search through my posts about borla.
