What the cheapest alarm I can get from DEI that can have unlimited options added on down the line? Around$200-$250 range?

Anyway, I would go with a Python. Look on Ebay if you're going to install if yourself, but you probably won't get a warranty. You should be able to find someone that is a DEI dealer to install you a Python alarm (with a warranty) for around your budget. Python alarms are exactly the same thing as the Viper, just in a different box.
