ok guys i have a bit of a problem...

i jump into my car tonight and when i flip the lights on, the lights come on but no lights in the gauge cluster come on. i look around and the manual climate control lights are out also. everything else is in full working order (taillights, headlights, fogs, dome/interior lights, cig lighter, power trunk pop, power seats yada yada...)

i was in a hurry to get where i was going so i drove there and back without the gauge lights. so when i get home i figured this was a fuse problem, i pull out the fuse map and start looking for related items to the gauge cluster...i pulled all the fuses in the fuse box in the dash that were related to anything electrical and nothing burnt out.

am i missing something here with the fuses or what? anyone else had this problem? thanks for your prompt replies on this matter. i kind of need this one figured out soon.

try this. i had the same problem not too long ago.

pop the hood. look beside battery at the fuse holder. pop it open and find a fuse named fog i believe thats it. maybe headlight. one of the two. try it and let me know if they are blown or if this fixs it.

thanks shogun...but i just figured it out...

i feel dumb...i forgot that i was cleaning my interior the day before and i must have turned the light dimmer all the way down on accident. i turned it back up and there they were. how stupid of me!

The same thing happened to me one night. I got in...no dash lights. Then I remembered that my 3 year old daughter was "driving" my Max. I adjusted the dimmer, and all was well.

i think rain is in the forecast for friday i will be out there as soon as a "guaranteed" no rain friday pops up. i dont really want to drive through rush hour traffic just to turn around and come back after it rains!!

you figured out what you are going to do about your clutch?...i feel i am not too far behind you on clutch failure.

Okay guys i have a problem that really making me go crazy!!! My cluster lights and climate control lights are out after i was messing with a radio that worked for 2days and then went bad. So i put back the radio that the previous owner had in that looks like its from 20yrs old lol. Anyway all the plugs from when i put that radio back are plugged in, i checked 20 times!! I don't know what it can be since all my fuses are good because i also checked that like 20times! my dimmer however still works, the light on the cluster where the mileage is read still works, as well as clock!!! help anyone???!!! please call or text me at two zero one seen four seven nine zero zero nine!!!
