Nightmare

Today i came from class to find out that someone has keyed my car from the fender to the back door, it tried using those scratch removers it helped slightly not much at all... The cut is one big line that goes somewhat zig zag, its not too deep, any one have any idea what are the methods of fixing these kind of things xcept painting the car over, and how much do these methods cost?

Exactly how deep were the scratches? If they just scratched the top clear coat layer, then you can probably buff them out. If they went deeper, thru the clear coat into the actual paint layer, then you are probably screwed. Sorry.

That is so annoying, not to mention WRONG! One thing that you NEVER should do is vandalize someone else's car. I don't care if it's a pos Focus, you RESPECT other people's property. I don't know what kind of an idiot would do such a terrible thing to your car, more than likely they're just jealous. Sorry about the bad news man.

Someone must be jealouse of your car dang sorry that totally sucks. what school do you go to? did you park in a bad area? was it during nite time? if the scratches are deep enough to see white inside than there is no scratch remover you can purchase to remove it.
Believe me, I got two scractches (deep enought to see white inside)on the hood of my car (from rocks) and I bought all kinds of scratch removers, even the ones "as seen on Tv" DO NOT WORK! If I were you I go to a trusty shop to get an estimate and get it buffed out, dont waste anymore of your money to purchase any scratch removers.

Same thing happened to me at the begining of the summer.
I was able to buff it out with glazing compound (it was quite deep).
Get a can of buffing glaze (I used turtle wax glaze) and rub, rub, rub
it took me almost 2 hours but I was able to rub it all out.

Good luck.
