do any of you guys and gals (if any) recommend cutting your springs to lower much more than what it states, cuz i just bought the maxspeed springs and they lower about 1.2 inch. i was thinking of cutting them so it looks better, or should i just leave em like that. will they lower some more after driving a few or so weeks? please help me out, thanks for all your responses.

Cutting springs is absolutely awful. It'll just ruin your ride, making it light-years worse than normal lowering springs. It's terrible to cut progressive-rate springs, since when you cut off the stiff part at the top it'll leave you bouncing off the bump stops like a slammed Tercel or something. If it's a larger drop you're looking for, sell your springs and get the new Sprint springs, $115 or so (great deal) at http://www.groupbuycenter.com. They'll drop you at least 2"-2.25" without giving near the ride penalty of cut springs.

Yor car will definetly go down a little more. Do NOT cut your springs, you'll really regret it.

DON'T DO IT!

Like everyone else said, you will regret it. I have cut springs on mine (I didn't do it..previous owner) and the suspension creaks and is pretty lousy in general...I can't wait to redo the suspension.

thanks for all the info

i appreciate all the suggestions, hypothetically the springs does settle, how much lower are we talking about? an inch or less? what is it, i need to know before i make any decisions, i've seen so many diff kinds of cars, and they said it should be fine even though i cut it. is it really that bad of a ride quality. thanks again fellas
