changing belts?

I did a quick search but didnt come up with anything useful. I was wondering how easy/hard it is to change the belts in teh engine bay? I"ve got a 96 and I was told by the dealer that they were starting to crack (I was also told my struts were starting to leak but didn't see anything leaking on any of them). I was just wondering if its a job I can tackle myself w/o too much trouble or if I should bring it somewhere.

Thanks
