altezza v.s. red/clear tails!!!

Altezza's painted

I painted the inside of my altezza's to match the color of my car......will post pics up soon....

nopi.com sells red/clear .......painted altezzas are the **** though

howd u do that AZ2DMAX? i wanna know how because im either going to do the sexima project or what you did with my altzs.

Its the same way you clear out 97-99 taillights.

Materials:

Metric socket set
Paint to match car
heat gun (not hair dryer)
wide screw driver or the like
sand paper
optional:
bondo

How to:
1. Use heat gun to melt glue then seperate clear cover from housing with wide screw driver.

optional:
use bondo to cover up that ugly little bulb in the corner and smooth out until contoured to curve. All you will have left is the two big circles.

2.Sand the area your going to paint.
3.Tape off the red lens or take it out. (forgot if it comes out)
4.Apply primer first then paint to match your car.
5.Heat the housing and lens area that has glue and reattach.

Your finished. Very easy to do. Hope that was clear enough for all. I like it better than painting the outside lens leaving two big circles. Keep me informed. If you have any problems pls don't hesitate to ask.
