Silly Question: 97-99.5 owners- Where do you keep CHANGE?
Silly Question: 97-99.5 owners- Where do you keep CHANGE?
I am about to convert my 96 console to a 98. I was looking at pictures and did not see where there might be a change holder in the center console/armrest piece. Is there a changeholder INSIDE the armrest or under the cover? Is it there somewhere and I am just missing it? In my 96 it is between the cupholders and the armrest.
Thanks. It seems like a little thing, but I like the changeholder. Its not enough to keep me from doin gthe swap, but I was just curious.

i put it in the ash tray thingie, cuz you can throw a good 5 dollarsi n there, and then be able to take it out, and drop it on your lap for easy access....the cup holder method is good too, but i use them

Did mecca ever tell you whether we were on or not for the clear corner deal? I need to paypal him the $ for the console, and don't knwo whether to throw in the extra portion for the clears or not...
Okay, I get the point...no built-in DESIGNATED coin holders in the 97-9955 Maximas.
At least some of you guys had fun with this thread.
Thanks again- I did get my answer!

I used to keep my change in the CHANGE HOLDER that the 96 has...so no luck there...I guess it will go in the ashtray..

Oh...and I use the sliding tray thing. No optional coin holders here. '99 SE
y'all know that the fuzzy liner in the ash tray can be taken out so you can stuff another $3 of coins in there?
I'm limited in how much I can put in the ash tray cuz I also throw my remote in there.
btw, I'm heading over to radio shack to pick up a bulb...i don't like the sick yellow bulb...going to go with green or blue.

[FONT=arial]To answer your question since no one has yet. No, there is no change holder in the 97-99.5 center console.
